KATIE MUSTARD

Katie Mustard’s career spans 30 countries and covers all facets of production, including roles as a line producer, producer, and production executive. Notably recognized in Variety’s Top 10 Producers to Watch, Katie has led the production of over 40 feature films  including acclaimed titles such as Otherhood, Custody,  and The Greatest.

In 2018, Katie joined Netflix as a Director of International Production based in Europe, where she oversaw the successful production of 27 Netflix Original TV shows on a diverse slate including Into the Night (Belgium), The Woods (Poland), Young Wallander (Sweden), Rise of the Empires: Ottoman (Turkey/US), and The Club (Turkey). Her leadership contributed  to the establishment of industry best practices and efficient production workflows.

 

In 2021, Katie relocated to Istanbul  to spearhead the establishment of a Netflix studio in Turkey, driving strategic growth initiatives and ensuring long-term success in the region. In 2023, Katie  returned to producing  and production consulting  with a focus on facilitating US content shooting in EMEA. 

Katie received her B.A in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California and attended high school TV and Film camps at Northwestern and UCLA. She is a member of the DGA, the PGA, IFP, and Women Production Society. She is in her 11th year serving as the production advisor for the Venice Biennale Cinema Fund to support global emerging talent.

ABOUT SKIP HENFLING

Skip Henfling is a seasoned executive in the entertainment industry, having held key roles at major studios such as Netflix and MBC. With a focus on finance and production, Skip spent five years at Netflix, overseeing the management of local language original content in EMEA from Los Angeles and Amsterdam. 

 

Before his corporate tenure, Skip built a robust career as a freelance Production Accountant, working across 13 countries over two decades. In his most recent role as Director of Production & Studio Finance at MBC Studios, Skip led MENA Finance teams across Dubai, Cairo, and Riyadh, facilitating the production of diverse Arabic and English language projects in the region. His experience with MBC led him to consult with NEOM and embark on the launch of a production service company in Saudi Arabia.
